The Nestlings
The Nestlings brings caregivers together through babywearing walks, meaningful conversation, and time spent outdoors. It's a place to build confidence, find encouragement, and create lasting friendships during the early years of parenthood.
Whether you've been babywearing for years or recently found your favorite carrier, The Nestlings offers a welcoming space to connect with other families who enjoy spending time in nature. Gatherings are designed for caregivers who are already comfortable using their carrier but may appreciate light troubleshooting, fit checks, or support transitioning to back carrying as their little one grows.
Every gathering concludes with Coffee at the Nest - an opportunity to slow down over coffee, light refreshments, and conversation while little ones play and caregivers continue building community.
A morning at the Nest
Gather & Troubleshoot (20–25 minutes)
We'll begin by checking in, making minor carrier adjustments, answering questions, and offering light babywearing support. This is also a great time for caregivers who are ready to learn or practice back carrying with guidance.
Walk Together (45–50 minutes)
We'll enjoy a relaxed, babywearing-friendly walk at an easy pace, giving families the opportunity to spend time outdoors, connect with one another, and appreciate the beauty of the changing seasons. If a quick carrier adjustment is needed along the way, we're happy to help.
Coffee at the Nest (20–25 minutes)
We'll wrap up our morning with coffee, light refreshments, and conversation. This is a time to relax, continue conversations from the trail, ask babywearing questions, and enjoy the company of other families before heading home.
Getting ready for The Nestlings
The Nestlings is designed for caregivers with babies and toddlers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Participants should already be comfortable using their own baby carrier, as gatherings are not intended to teach the fundamentals of babywearing. Light troubleshooting, fit adjustments, and guidance with back carrying are available throughout the gathering.
Older siblings are always welcome to join the adventure.
