The Wild Nest is a nature-based community for families. Through babywearing gatherings, seasonal making workshops, and time spent outdoors, we create opportunities for families to slow down, connect with nature, and build meaningful community.

We believe childhood is meant to be experienced outdoors, at an unhurried pace, with curious hands, and plenty of time to wonder. We believe in learning by doing - through exploring, creating, cooking, crafting, gardening, and discovering nature together. We also believe that caregivers need community just as much as children need places to explore.

Our programs celebrate the rhythms of the seasons through hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and connection. Inspired by traditional skills and the changing seasons, we invite families to make together, learn together, and create meaningful traditions that can be carried home and shared for years to come.

Hi, I'm Taylor!

I'm a mom of two, a nature-based educator, and the founder of The Wild Nest. I'm passionate about creating opportunities for families to slow down, spend time outdoors, and make meaningful memories together.

Whether I'm hiking with my family, tending the garden, baking something seasonal, or working on a new craft project, I love learning traditional skills and finding simple ways to connect with nature in everyday life. Those interests inspired Wild Makers, where families can create, cook, craft, and learn together through the changing seasons.

After my second child was born, I also discovered how life-changing babywearing could be. Learning to wear my baby comfortably and confidently gave our family the freedom to continue exploring trails, traveling, and embracing everyday adventures together. That experience inspired me to become a Certified Babywearing Educator and to create The Nestlings - a welcoming space where caregivers can build confidence, spend time outdoors, and connect with other families.

The Wild Nest brings together the things I love most - nature, creativity, traditional skills, and community. My hope is that every family who joins us leaves with new memories, new friendships, and traditions they'll carry into their own homes.
